Fundamental Play: Students exhibit artwork from Foundation Studies
Fundamental Play is an exhibition of student work from Foundations Studies within the Department of Art. These courses include Beginning
Drawing, Two-Dimensional Studies, Three Dimensional Art, and Real & Recorded Time.
In these classes, students play and experiment while developing technical skills to discover the BIG ideas of communication and expression through art-making. This exhibition, by focusing on the meaning-making that comes from rethinking how art is imagined, viewed, and understood, is an extension of our classrooms.
Please join us in recognizing the fundamental play conducted by our fantastic students! Fundamental Play was organized by Foundations Coordinator Britny Wainwright and included work by 160 students.
